“ While choosing a play to produce for 2016 BoxFest Detroit, I read nearly 300 short plays. INSERT TOKEN immediately stood out and was ultimately the piece I chose to direct for the festival, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. This piece is relevant, funny and absurdly beautiful in the simple brilliance of its message. It stirs nostalgia while firmly planted in the technological future we're running toward - I cannot recommend it enough! ”
- Mycah Artis, Director/Producer/Playwright
“ A quick-witted, thought-provoking piece about consumption and connectivity. A funny set-up with a sharp, dangerous edge, INSERT TOKEN is original and exciting. ”
- Jordan Elizabeth Henry, Playwright
“ Wacky like something out of the mind of Philip K Dick. The concept of the interrogation is wonderfully silly, but it's a smart way to examine the Internet's role in our lives. Makes you wonder..all those long hours connected to apps and websites, clicking on photos, watching cat videos, and all that personal data in the cloud... Who are we in the eyes of those that watch us, study us through all that connectivity and data consumption? Brilliant, funny, bravo. ”
- Asher Wyndham, Playwright
“ Hits us directly in our technology paranoia - especially the mysterious “cloud”. Greg Burdick creates a situation that feels very real and scary, but couches it with humor.”
- Julie Zaffarano, Playwright
“ This is a wonderfully tense, thought-provoking dark comedy, building steadily with irrefutable logic to a literally shattering conclusion. And it's great, creepy, paranoiac fun. ”
- Doug DeVita, Playwright
